JUNIOR NFR NOMINATION OPPORTUNITY FOR BREAKAWAY & TIE DOWN

BARREL AND POLE CONTESTANTS

If time permits between prepping JH cattle and JH check-in, a text will be sent out one hour in advance of allowing JH ONLY barrel and pole contestants to ride through the arena on their competition horse only. If it can be scheduled, contestants will be required to check-in at the alley and leave within a determined allotment of time.  This opportunity will only be offered if time permits on Thursday evening before check-in, as well as next week.

The LHSRA Scholarship Application and supporting documents are the same that are used for all Senior National Qualifiers to the NHSFR in Rock Springs. Once completed, seniors who qualify for the NHSFR will not have to complete a second application; they will only update the application. For LHSRA Scholarships, please disregard Submission and Foundation Awards Program information, NHSFR Back Number and Events, as that information cannot be completed until after our Finals. Graduating Seniors will line up in the alley in alphabetical order on horseback at 4:30pm on Friday. 

Each senior will receive two roses for their parents.

Parents/families should line up along the perimeter of the arena wall at 4:30.

The photographer will take photos of each senior with parents and horse.

Following the senior introductions, scholarships will be awarded,

followed by introduction of the 2025 National Junior High Finals Rodeo Team.

Please bring any props and any one whom you would like in the photos. 

Phifer will also take event and other groups after the Contestant Meetings.
